- W2348333721 abstract "Genetic analysis and comprehensive selection were carried out on two provenance trials located at Kunming and Yongping, three free-pollination progeny forests of 3 to 4 years old were conducted at Shiping and Jianshui, the experimental results shows that there are significant differences on height growth, diameter growth, straight of grain, timber density and resin content, between different families and individuals of Pinus yunnanensis.The hereditability estimated value of tree height, basal diameter, volume, grain character, wood density and resin content are 0.28 ～ 0.575, 0.16 ～ 0.666, 0.52 ～ 0.67, 0.85, 0.52 ～ 0.83 and 0.453 ～ 0.73 respectively. Aided by restraint and nonrestraint condition, the selection of superior families and individuals with promising growth, quality and wood characteristics was fulfilled, 32 elite families were selected out, they were respectively coded as Niuda No.39, Longpeng No.5 and Shuangbai e'jia No.17 etc. The actual gain and genetic gain of height growth of these superior families obtain 30.63 % and 16.85 % respectively. The results indicated that the superior quality of selected families was quite significant. Besides, 6 superior provenances and 27 superior individuals were selected out from the two provenance trials, which provided further selection of superior families and individuals with experimentation materials." @default.
