- W2348493012 abstract "The biomass dynamics of Aundp donax Linn.introduced successfully in the purple shale areas in Hengyang,Hunan Province was investigated for 5 years.The results show that individual plant biomass increased from 0.143 kg at 1-year-old to 3.95 kg at 5-year-old,and the total biomass at 5-year-old was 17.78 t· hm~(-2).The proportion of stem biomass increased while that of leaf and fine root declined with the age and the proportion of coarse root remained stable.However,root biomass accounted for a large proportion of the total,being 21.01%～44.06%.This result is consistent with the phenomenon that Aundp donax Linn.maintained its growth through perforating nutrient space under the stress of deficiency in soil nutrient and water.Fertilization increased tillers by 214%,average height by 210% and basal diameter by 119%. The planting technique with basal stem,4 sections in stem,45° angle verticalplanting,application of 100 mg·kg~(-1) GGR and using 53-year-old seedling could facilitate the survival and growth of Aundp donax Linn..The study will provide a scientific basis for vegetation restoration and Aundp donax Linn.cultivation." @default.
