So using media exposure as a proxy for CEO reputation which is used commonly in empirical studies domestic and international,respectively,from cash compensation and equity-based compensation to study both the CEO's pay.Empirical results show that,after controlling the factors of firm size,performance,industry,geographical,CEO age,the proportion of managerial ownership, board size etc.,CEO's reputation and their compensation was a significant positive correlation,ie,the better the reputation of CEO,their pay is higher." @default.
