- W2348822827 abstract "Objective To investigate the clinical significance of plasma high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs- CRP)and uric acid(UA)levels in patients with diabetes mellitus(DM)complicated with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods 70 patients with CHD diagnosed by coronary angiography were divided into two groups according to whether they were complicated with DM or not,30 cases with DM in group A and 40 cases without DM in group B. The blood pressure, the levels of plasma hs-CRP,fasting blood glucose(FBG),blood lipid, serum UA were detected in patients of both groups. All the parameters were compared between two groups and multiple regression analysis was done. Results The level of hs-CRP,UA,FBG,TG,systolic and diastolic blood pressure(SBP,DBP)in group A was significantly higher than those in group B(P0.01).The level of HDL-C in group A was significantly lower than that of group B(P0.01).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that hs-CRP was positively correlated with FBG,TG,serum UA and SBP.Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that the main risk factors for coronary heart disease complicated with diabetics were hs-CRP,serum UA,TG,FBG,DBP.Conclusion Inflammation reaction plays an important role in the pathogenesis, development of DM complicated with CHD.The levels of plasma hs-CRP and UA are main risk factors in patients with DM complicated with CHD." @default.
