- W2348824591 abstract "To control the weight increase of obese children in kindergarten by physical exercise. Standard weight for height as the obesity diagnostic standard:≥10% is over weight, 20%～29% is mild obesity, 30%～49% is moderate obesity, ≥50% is severe obesity. 188 obese or over weight children from 15 kindergartens were randomly divided into two groups, intervention group ( n 1=91) and control group ( n 2=97). Children in intervention group received physical exercise by 3 stages gradually for 4 months:adaptive stage, transitional period and training stage. We selected ways of training according to age. The weight,height and physical capacity before and after intervention were measured. Weight increase in intervention group and control group were (0.84±1.20) kg vs (1.03±1.00) kg. There was no significant difference of weight increase between the two groups (P0.05),while the weight before intervention as the co factor. The physical capacity of intervention group was better than that of control group. [Conclusions] Physical exercise can affect the weight increase of obese children, but there is no significance in this study. It is definite that physical exercise can enhance the physical capacity in children." @default.
