- W2348997249 abstract "Objective To evaluate the short term therapeutic effect and safety of recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide(rh-BNP) in treatment of chronic systolic heart failure.Methods Thirty-one patients with chronic systolic heart failure were randomly divided into two groups:routine therapy group and rh-BNP group.The patients in routine therapy(n =17) group were administrated with cardiotonic,diuresis,ACEI/ARB,and/orβ-receptor blockers,and the patients in rh-BNP group(n = 14) were applied with rh-BNP(1.5～2.0μg/kg,iv.) based on conventional treatment.The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),concentration of serum BNP and rating of NYHA were observed and compared between two groups during 1～7 month follow up.Results Compared with the routine therapy group,the rating of NYHA in rh-BNP group was significantly and rapidly improved(26 h±9 h vs 36 h±15 h,P0.05),while the LVEF and serum BNP had no significant change(P0.05).No side effects was found in rh-BNP group.Conclusion It demonstrated that the rh-BNP has well therapeutic effect on chronic systolic heart, and the safety was reliable." @default.
