- W2349204035 abstract "Objective: To investigate effects of desflurane on the cardiovascular system and electroencephalogram in patients with coronary artery disease. Methods: Forty patients with coronary artery disease who were scheduled for elective abdominal operation were included. And at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 minimal alveolar concentration (MAC) points, BIS, MAP, HR were recorded respectively. Results: Desflurane anesthesia decreased MAP and BIS both in a dose dependent fashion(P0.05).At 1.0, 1.5 MAC point, MAP decreased 14.6%, 19.7% respectively. As increasing of Des concentration, BIS decreased from 91.4 to 44.5 (P0.05). HR decreased by 10～18 beats/min intraoperatively after inhalating Des, and no bradycardia occured in all patients. Conclusion: Desflurane is suitable for high risk patients and can maintain the hemodynamic stability at 1.0, 1.5 MAC during operation. BIS can be used as a parameter in judging the depth of anesthesia." @default.
