- W2349207033 abstract "Aim:To investigate the effect of metoprolol combined with nitroglycerin(NTG) on intratracheal intubation response in patients with hypertension. Methods: A total of 40 ASA Ⅰ～Ⅱ hypertension patients scheduled for general anesthesia were randomly divided into group A and B with 20 patients in each group. The patients in group A were slowly infused with metoprolol 0.04 mg/kg, then intravenous infused with NTG 2 μg/(kg·min) by syringe pump. The speed of infusion was adjusted according to BP. The patients in group B were infused with NTG directly. p SB , p DB , f H, and RPP of all patients were observed and recorded. Results: p SB ,p DB , f H, and RPP of group A significantly decreased before intubation,and kept lower level with little changes after intubation. p DB ,p SB of group B also had a tendency of decreasing, but its f H was faster and RPP was higher after intubation. Conclusion: Metoprolol combined with NTG could safely and effectively control tracheal intubation response in hypertensive patients." @default.
