- W2349277154 abstract "There are 13 species and subspecies of amphibians,belonging to 6 genera,6 families,1 order in Karst Platform Forest Nature Reserve of Baiqing in Guizhou.The amphibian fauna of the area belongs to the Oriental Realm,but the central and southern Chinese elements are the dominant fauna components(46.15%).According to the vertical distribution of amphibians,the vertical changes of topography,climate and vertical distribution,the authors divide the region into three vertical zones:(1)Foot-hill zone(600～1000 m)with 6 species(46.15%),(2)Mid-hill zone(1000～1750 m)with 11 species(84.62%),(3)Top-hill zone(1750～2200 m)with 1 species.Narrow vertical distributive species(appeared only in one vertical zone) are dominant.The influence of topography,climate and vegetation on the vertical distribution of amphibians is discussed.On the animal geographic division.The paper also deals with the taxonomy of Bufo gargarizans Cantor and B.andrewsi Schmidt." @default.
