- W2349588044 abstract "【Objective】To sum up experiences for one-stage operation for hypospadias.【Methods】Review the cases from 1994～2008,125 cases of hypospadias have been treated in the department.Among all,duckett(54 cases);duckett plus duplay(38);Medline Scrotal Raphe Tube with Vascularized Pedicel Flap(19);Modified Denis-Browne(8);MAGPI(3);onlay(3).【Results】103 cases are successful,the success rate for all cases was 82.4%.There were16 cases with urethra fistula and 3 cases with external orifice stricture of urethra,including one for acute epididymitis on the left side.The Complication for Duckett techniques was 14.0%(8/57),Duplay plus Duckett 13.2%(5/38),Medline Scrotal Raphe Tube with Vascularized Pedicel Flap26.3%(5/19),Modified Denis-Browne 12.5%(1/8) and Onlay 100%(3/3).【Conclusions】 A proper selection of various surgical methods according to the length of urethra and defect of hypospadias can improve the successful rate and reduce complication" @default.
