- W2349635977 abstract "Objective To study the significance of Lingo-1 in the pathogenesis of WMD rats and the protective role of BDNF for damaged cerebral tissues by injecting into the WMD rats cerebral ventricles.Methods After establishment of the WMD model for 2 day-old SD rats and injected BDNF into the rat brain ventricles of WMD rats,in situ hybridization was used to assess the expression of Lingo-1 mRNA in brain tissue,and the real time PCR method was applied to detect the changes in the expression of Lingo-1 mRNA at different time of HI.Results The expressions of Lingo-1 mRNA in all the parts of the brain tissues of WMD were observed,especially in the cortex and hippocampal.The expressions of Lingo-1 mRNA in WMD groups at 8,24,48,72 h and 7 d after WMD were significantly higher than those of the all control groups(P0.05).It reached the peak value at 48h in WMD group,and followed by decline.The expressions of Lingo-1 mRNA in BDNF treated group were higher than those of WMD groups at 8h and 24 h after BDNF intervention and significantly decreased in expressions at 48 h and 72 h of BDNF treated groups compared with those of WMD groups at same time phases(P0.05),but the expressions of Lingo-1 mRNA at 7thd have no statistical significance between BDNF treated groups and WMD groups(P0.05).The expressions of Lingo-1 mRNA in all the BDNF treated groups were higher than the relative control groups(P0.05).Conclusion The expression of Lingo-1 mRNA increased in all the parts of brain tissue of WMD,especially in the cortex and hippocampal areas,compared with the control groups.It suggests that Lingo-1 may participate in the inhibition mechanism of CNS regeneration.BDNF depresses the expression of Lingo-1 mRNA in brain tissue of WMD rats to some degree,suggesting that BDNF probably have a protective role to the WMD brain." @default.
