- W2349768829 abstract "Objective:To explore the effect of Gengnianlejia on expression of nitric oxide synthase(NOS) mRNA in brain tissues of perimenopausal rats. Methods:50 female SD rats aged 12～15 months old were divided into five groups randomly:high dose group of Gengnianlejia,middle dose group of Gengnianlejia,low dose group of Gengnianlejia,blank control group and nilestriol group,10 rats in each group;10 adult female rats aged 4～5 months old who were unpregnancy were regarded as normal control group;the hypothalamus tissues of the rats were obtained,then the expression of NOS mRNA was detected by RT-PCR. Results:The total positive rates of NOS mRNA expression in high dose group of Gengnianlejia,middle dose group of Gengnianlejia,nilestriol group and normal control group were 80%,70%,80% and 80%,respectively,which were significantly higher than that in blank control group(50%)(P0.05);the total positive rate of NOS mRNA expression in low dose group of Gengnianlejia was 60%,compared with blank control group,there was no significant difference(P0.05). Conclusion:Gengnianlejia can promote the expression of neurogenic NOS mRNA." @default.
