- W2350049596 abstract "Plantain powdery mildew (Erysiphe cichoracearum) is an important disease in plantain.The pathogen survives the winter period in the from of mycelia and cleistothecia in plantain seedlings. In the following spring, condia which develop from the mycelia and ascospores which are released from the cleistothecia spread and cause new infection.It is harmful to plantain's leaves and fringes.The leaves get it in middle April and its peak occurs in middle May, but the fringes get it in early May and its peak is in early June. The disease develops quickly on sunny, cloudy or occasional slight rainy day with the temperature of 20～25℃, but it will be controlled on heavy rainy day with the temperature above 28℃.Overusing nitrogenous fertilizer will lead to a heavy disease.The experiment indicated that 25% tilt's curative effect was 89.9%,which was the most effective, 60% Fang Mei Bao with curative effect of 74.3% was the second." @default.
