- W2350883218 abstract "This paper proposes a new conception of thermal energy storage(TES)technology.This technology is not to directly store cold or heat energy,but is to change a kind of energy,such as electric,heat and other formal energy,into the refrigerating /heating potential-chemical potential of working fluids,and then the potential is stored.When the consumers need cold or heat energy,the stored potential of working fluids can easily be transformed into cold or heat energy by means of refrigeration or heat pump.So the TES technology is called as refrigerating /heating potential storage technology(R/HPST).R/HPST has many distinctive advantages:①The working fluids are natural materials and friend to environment.②The potential can be stored for long time at the ambient temperature so that the storage system does not need to be insulated.③The storage density of working flu ids is much higher.④The storage devices in R/HPST are simple so that investment for R/HPST is lower.⑤R/HPST is suitable for shifting every kind of energy into the potentials of working fluids.⑥The range of working temperature of R/HPST is large and theoretically the working temperatures of R/HPST are from-60℃to70℃.7)⑦The stored potentials can be transform not only cold energy but also heat energy or both of them.⑧The de-vices used in R/HPST are basically the same as those in convention compression and absorption refrigeration sys-tems and manufacture technologies of relation devices for R/HPST are mature.⑨The common air-conditioning and chilling systems can be easily changed into those systems with energy storagecapacity by using R/HPST.There fore,R/HPST has a good development prospect." @default.
