- W2350966474 abstract "The surface morphology,constituent and micro-structure of oxide scales formed on Fe-30Mn-9Al austenitic steel oxidized at 700℃,800℃,and 950℃ in air for 160 h were investigated.At 700℃ and 800℃,the oxidation rate of the steel was higher in the initial stage of 2～4 cycles,and then the slight mass gain was measured with a maximum value of about 1 00 and 4 08 mg/cm 2 for oxidation up to 160 h,respectively.The oxide scales were mainly consisted of Mn 2O 3,Al 2O 3 and(Mn,Fe) 2O 3.At 950℃,the high oxidation rate with a final mass gain of 43 50 mg/cm 2 was observed with a scale consisted of Fe 2O 3,MnO 2,MnAl 2O 4 and Al 2Fe 2O 6.After oxidetion at 800℃ for 160 h,Mn enrichment in the outer layer and Al enrichment in the inner layer of the oxide scale were detected together with the Fe enrichment and Mn depletion in the steel matrix below the oxide scale." @default.
