- W2351036386 abstract "This paper presents an experimental study on the dynamic behavior of a ballstless track railway bridge with common spans on Suining-Chongqing Railway in China.The natural vibration behaviors and dynamic responses of 24 m and 32 m prestressed box girders under CRH2 motor train set and 120 km·h-1 trial wagon were tested.Experimental results show that 24 m and 32 m box girders can meet the requirements for the running safety of these two kinds of trains.The vertical and lateral natural vibration frequencies of the girders accord with corresponding codes.Under the action of these two kinds of trains,the deflection-span ratios at mid-span,dynamic factors of deflections,lateral amplitudes at mid-span,lateral and vertical accelerations at mid-span,lateral amplitudes on the top of piers,the angles of rotation at the support of girders,lateral displacements of bearings,vertical and lateral displacements the rail support between the two sides of girder crevice meet corresponding codes.However,the dynamic factors of partial measured points strains of girders can′t meet design codes.The vertical and lateral damping ratios and the vertical amplitudes at mid-span of girders are under normal situation.Measured deflection-span ratios at mid-span of 24 m and 32 m box girders are 1/11 436 and 1/12 386,respectively,although the limit value of design code and design value are only 1/1 200 and 1/4 000;and the angles of rotation at the support of girders are only one-tenth of the limit value of the design code.It could be concluded that the design of the vertical stiffness of girders is excessively conservative." @default.
