- W2351051289 abstract "Objective To determine the clinical significance of measuring both reactivity and reversibility of airway for patients with bronchial asthma(asthma).Methods Bronchial provocation testing with histamine was performed in 98 subjects with asthma of chronic persistent period.When it showed positive result,bronchial dilation testing with salbutamol was performed additionally.Results ①Baseline:forced vital capacity(FVC)(3.19±0.90)L,forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1) (2.46±0.71)L,FEV1/FVC(78.0±8.9)%,34(34.7%) patients had abnormal function of small airway and 29(29.6%) patients had mild obstruction.The total abnormal rate is 68.4%.②Bronchial provocation testing:93(94.9%) patients with airway hyperresponsiveness,the FEV1 decreased 10.1%～80.3%,(31.9±11.4)% on average,and 14.0%(13/93) patients over 40.0%.Provoking dose which makes FEV1 reduce 20%(PD20FEV1) were (0.03～7.72) μmol,(1.97±1.68) μmol on average.30(32.3%) patients were mild AHR,and 42(45.2%) were moderate.③Bronchial dilation testing:The change rates for FEV1 were(56.1±58.9)% after bronchial provocation testing,(0.26～2.26)L,(0.78±0.36)L on average,positive rates were 100.0%.There was great difference between post-provocation and post-dilation for FEV1(Pair t=-22.55,P=0.001).Conclusions It was great clinical significance of measuring both reactivity and reversibility of airway for patients with asthma.It may guide clinical therapy for patients with asthma by evaluation of bronchial obstruction reversibility and ensure the safety issue for bronchial provocation testing." @default.
