- W2351129498 abstract "Objective To introduce the key point of the technique of external ultrosoand-assisted liposuction by presenting the experience of clinical application of this technique in 206 cases. Methods After tumescent technique was applied in the operative areas, the external ultrasonic equipment was used in the areas. The ultrasoand energy output was set at 3?W, functioning 10～15?min. Then traditional mechanical lipoplastic technique was applied and the contour of the body was shaped. Results The efficacy of fat removing and contour shaping by this technique in our 206 cases was obvious. The volume of aspired fat varied from 200?ml to 4?300?ml. One complication occured in a patient who had a 3?cm superficial skin burn of the abdominal wall. The other complication seen were seroma in three cases. The 4 cases with complications mentioned above were cured by wound dressing in 1～2 weeks. No serious complication happened in our experiences. All patients got some skin shrinkage in this group. Conclusion External ultrasoand-assisted liposuction is a safe and reliable technique. It is easy to learn and control, and it is benefit for fat removal and skin shrinkage." @default.
