- W2353188426 abstract "Objective To analyze the source and distribution of rabies virus in Guangxi in order to explore the reason for high incidence of rabies.Methods 1352 healthy dog brain simples from the cities of Yulin,Guigang,Liuzhou,Laibin,Nanning and Hechi were collected.DFA and RT-PCR methods were used to detect brain samples.Results 26 positive samples were detected by DFA and RT-PCR methods.Among them,22 positive samples'N gene were sequenced and their similarities were 87.8%～100%,and deduced their amino acid sequence similarities were 97.5%～99.6%.It clears that Guangxi rabies virus N gene aberrance was mainly synonymous aberrance.Phylogeny analysis showed that Guangxi rabies viruses were divided into A,B and C groups.The geography distribution of three groups was different,every group had its obvious regional character.Group CHINA-1、CHINA-2 and CHINA-3 were also found in Guangxi.They were included in Group A,B and C.The sources of these three group epidemic rabies virus in Guangxi were different: Group A may be from the provinces of Hunan and Guizhou,Group B may be from the northern provinces of China and Group C is circulating in Guangxi.Conclusion There are infected rabies virus dogs at large in Guangxi,and in recent years other group rabies viruses have been introduced into Guangxi.Above-mentioned factors are the main reason for rabies case's rapid increase and high mortality." @default.
