- W2353935197 abstract "Objective:To explore the relationship between genetic polymorphism of cat gene in glucosyl transferase catalytic activity area of clinical isolated strains of streptococcus mutans and different caries-susceptible caries in children.Methods:60 children aged 3～5 years old were selected,the plaque samples from surface of teeth were inoculated in MS culture medium,then every child chose 1～5 clinical isolated strains,the chromosomal DNA of isolated strains was extracted,cat gene fragments were amplified by PCR,restriction fragment-length polymorphism analysis was performed with restriction endonucleases HinfⅠ,MboⅠ and TaqⅠ,the genotypes of clinical isolated strains of streptococcus mutans in different caries-susceptible caries in children were analyzed.Results:After enzyme cut of HinfⅠ,there was significant difference in zymogram of restriction fragment-length polymorphism analysis;after enzyme cut of MboⅠ and TaqⅠ,there was no significant difference in zymogram of restriction fragment-length polymorphism analysis.Conclusion:The genotypes of cat gene in glucosyl transferase catalytic activity area of clinical isolated strains of streptococcus mutans are different in different caries-susceptible caries of children,which may be related to the ability of exopolysaccharide composition by streptococcus mutans with glucosyl transferase." @default.
