- W2355044362 abstract "The flotation behavior of pyrrhotite was investigated by using ethyl xanthate as a collector. The results showed that pyrrhotite had good floatability when pH=1～11, and poor floatability when pH12. The electrical potential of pulp was adjusted by using ammonium persulfate [(NH 4) 2S 2O 8] and sodium thiosulfate (Na 2S 2O 4). The relationship between floatability and electrical potential pulp for pyrrhotite in different pH value has been investigated, obtaining potential-pH range for floatable pyrrhotite. The mechanism of action for ethyl xanthate and production on the surface of pyrrhotite has been investigated by FTIR spectroscopy, and it is found when pyrrhotite acting with ethyl xanthate in the different pH value and at the different electric potential, the infrared absorption and recovery of pyrrhotite has a corresponding relationship. The main adsorption product on pyrrhotite is dixanthogen." @default.
