- W2355147110 abstract "Objective To investigate the relationship betweet clinical, electrophysiological types and patho-logical types of Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS). Methods The contrastive and comparative studies were done by analysing the features of clinical, electrophysiological and pathological change in 45 cases of GBS. Results Abnor-mal rate of MCV and f wave was more frequent than the one of SCV. Most of the electrophysiological findings con-form to demyelination types. Few cases conformed to axonal types. The pathological results of sarel nerve were the same as electrophysiological results. The electrophysiological trends observation showed clinical symptoms recov-ered earlier than SCV, MCV and EMG recovered more quickly than SCV. Conclusion The electrophysiological in-vestigation is an important mean to diagnose the GBS. It can be one of objective indications to evaluate the treat-ment result. Electrophysiological types conform to pathological types." @default.
