- W2355204567 abstract "Sinology is a mixed with and foreign scholarly intelligence. In a sense, it is an culture or a Chinese exotic culture. In the history of Sinological Studies, Sinology and Studies are two distinctive schools. Sinology was centralized in France from the 18~(th) century and mainly interested in historical documents and classic literature with an emphasis on humanities, such as philosophy, religion, history, literature, linguistics and so on.Chinese Studies, on the other hand, was originated in the United States, focusing on practical issues based on pragmatic principles. With an emphasis on social studies, Studies have involved in a wide range of subjects, such as politics, sociology, economy, science and technology, education and so on which are based on consistently renewed information. While the two schools in Sinological Studies have persistently evolved and enriched their academic fields, they have also found ways where they can cooperate and complement each other. This paper is to explore this trend in Sinological Studies in the 21~(st) century." @default.
