- W2355359375 abstract "Several improvements have been made for the measurement of NF membrane Zeta potential.Based on Navier-Stokes equation,the equation of the channel height was deduced.The DL NF membrane streaming potential was measured using tangential flow measurement technology.With the hydrodynamic channel height and the different parts of the conductance being preciously measured,the NF membrane Zeta potential was calculated according to Fievet equation.The influence of the channel height and each part of the system conductance as well as pressure drop and concentration on the Zeta potential of NF membrane was studied thoroughly.The results show that the proposed channel height determination method along with the application of total conductance,rather than the solution conductance and the channel conductance,greatly enhanced the accuracy of the prediction of Zeta potential values.Pressure drop has little effect on the Zeta potential.However,the concentration of the solution has much effect on the Zeta potential and also on the conductance of each part.The absolute value of Zeta potential decreases with the concentration increases.At low concentration,the proportion of membrane conductance forms a larger part of the total conductance and is larger than those of the solution and the outer loop.With the increase of the solution concentration,the proportion of membrane conductance decreases gradually lower than that of the solution conductance." @default.
