- W2355631630 abstract "Objective To evaluate the clinical applications of Helioseal F pit and fissure sealant on permanent first Molar's early occlusal surface Pit-and-fissure Caries of 6-12-year-old children.Methods Two hundred and fifty-two permanent first molars of 6-12-year-old children of mixed dentition in first clinical consultation were enrolled into the study and divided into two groups equally and randomly.The experimental group was treated by filling with Helioseal F pit and fissure sealant combined with preventive resin restoration,while the matched group was just filled with composite resin.After they were followed up for 1～3 years,compare and analyze the incidence rate of secondary caries between them.Results After 3 years,the incidence rate of secondary caries in the experimental group is obviously lower than that in the matched group(P0.05).The complete retention rate、partial retention rate and the losing rate of Helioseal F pit and fissure sealant in 3 years are respectively:77.23% 12.20%、and10.57%.The retention rate of sealant showed negative correlation with the incidence rate of caries.Conclusion Helioseal F pit and fissure sealant combined with preventive resin restoration can effectively prevent and cure permanent first Molar's early occlusal surface Pit-and-fissure Caries of 6～12 year-old children." @default.
