- W2355873349 abstract "Objective To know about the effectiveness of healthy education intervention in nutrition knowledge and practice of left-behind students in underdeveloped rural areas in Guangdong Province,and to provide basis for further improvement.Methods Using multistage cluster random sampling to choose the respondents.The health education intervention was carried out on 1 909 students of six primary schools and six secondary schools.The forms of health education were lectures,publicity materials,knowledge contests and health education courses.Baseline survey and impact assessment after intervene five months used a questionnaire survey.Results Before and after intervene,the scores of nutritional knowledge of students was 5.9 ±3.5 and 9.8 ±3.1(P0.01);the difference of groups was statistically significant(P0.05).The scores of eating habits of students was 5.1± 1.9 and 5.8±1.2(P0.01);the difference of groups was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion It is necessary to implement relevance nutrition education for left-behind students to improve their nutrition knowledge and dietary behavior." @default.
