- W2357059483 abstract "Objective To observe and analyse the clinical curative effects and toxical effects of gastrointestinal cancer patients treated with low dose 5-FU and low dose PDD.Methods 22 cases of gastric cancer and 13 cases of intestinal cancer were employed.Continuous infusion of 5-FU 200 mg/m 2/day lasted 3～4 weeks,and infusion of PDD 6 mg/m 2/day,2 h/d,5d/w,which was used for 3～4 weeks.Results Gross efficiency rate was 48.6% with none of CR and 17 cases of PR.The efficiency rate of gastric cancer patients was 54.6%,of intestinal cancer patients 38.5%,and of patients with previous chemotherapy consisting of 5-FU 43.8%.Major toxical effects were stomatitis,diarrhea,nausea and vomiting.Repression of marrow was light,much of it was Ⅰ°～Ⅱ°.Most of the patients can endure the toxicity of this chemothrapy.Conclusion The chemotherapy above had good curative and less toxical effects and less charge of treatment.It is worthy of further research and expansion in clinical practice." @default.
