- W2357067024 abstract "Objective To study the effects of supplying soybean-oil in sheep diet on fat content of wool and wool quality.Methods 20 pieces of Aohan Merino sheep,with an initial live weight of 40～45 kg,were randomly allotted to feed one of four concentrate diets containing 0%,2%,4%,or 6% soybean-oil for eight months.Results The fat content of wool at 4% soybean oil addition level significantly increased compared with the control(P0.05).2% soybean oil and 6% soybean oil added to diets had no significant effect on fat content(P0.05).There was no difference in the natural length of wool,wool fineness and wool skrinkage among the treatments(P0.05).Wool yield at 4% and 6% addition level decreased compared with the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Considering performance,supplying under 4% soybean oil is reasonable for improving fat content of wool." @default.
