- W2357380900 abstract "Objective To establish high invasive nude mice model with liver metastasis of colon cancer,and compare the BALB / c and SCID mice model with liver metastasis of colon cancer for seeking a reliable animal models for research of the high invasive colon cancer. Methods Firstly,human colon cancer HT- 29 cells were inoculated the spleen envelope of BALB / c mice with normal immune,then the liver tumor tissues were planted the cecum serosa of BALB / c and SCID mice with immune deficiency by means of in situ transplantation respectively,while the HT- 29 cells were planted in the colon in the third group,finally,the tumorigenesis and death of the three groups,and the rate of lymph node metastasis,liver metastasis,pulmonary metastasis and celiac planting etc were observed. ResultsAfter operation of 21 days,38 mice had tumors in 40 BALB / c mice with death of the rest 2; 33 mice had tumors in 40 SCID mice with death of the rest 7; among the third group of 40 mice( 20 BALB / c mice and 20 SCID mice),there were 29 having tumors and only one with death,but the liver metastasis rate( 24. 1%) was low,not suitable for setting up the high invasive model. The orthotopic transplantation tumor size,the rate of metastasis and planting had no significant differences between former two groups( P 0. 05),but the differences of rates of tumor and mortality of tumor were statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion Filtered tumor tissues of hepatic metastases in colon cancer to set up the animal model can effectively simulate invasive biological characteristics,and which combined with the advantage of low price of BALB / c mice,is more suitable as a reliable animal model of colon cancer with liver metastasis." @default.
