- W2357587973 abstract "Objective To probe into the internal operating mechanism of thinking mode,coping style and mental health of junior middle school student and to provide a basis for helping junior middle school students in training thinking mode and keeping mental health.Method A survey of 571junior middle school students was conducted using the thinking mode questionnaire,coping style questionnaire and mental health scale for secondary school students.Results Relations of thinking mode in junior middle school students had significantly positive correlations with two positive coping styles such as problem resolving and salvation,which also had significantly negative correlations with four negative coping styles such as self-accusation,phantasy,retreat and rationalization;contradiction had significantly negative correlations with two positive coping styles and significantly positive correlations with four negative coping styles;variability had significantly positive correlations with problem resolving and significantly negative correlations with phantasy and retreat.Relations of thinking mode in junior middle school students had significantly negative correlations with all factors of psychological problems besides compulsion,variability had significantly negative correlations with all factors of psychological problems besides interpersonal sensitivity and psychological imbalance,and dimension of the contradiction had significantly positive correlations with all factors of psychological problems.Two positive coping styles namely problem and help-seeking had significantly negative correlations with all factors of psychological problems while four negative coping styles such as self-accusation,phantasy,retreat and rationalization had significantly positive correlations all factors of psychological problems.Relationship model for thinking mode,coping style and mental health of junior middle school students was created as per the above-mentioned analysis results.Through verification,fit of the model was good.Conclusion Thinking mode of junior middle school students exerts effects on mental health,mainly through reduced application of negative coping styles,thereby reducing the possibility of decreasing all psychological problems." @default.
