The interaction kernel is assumed to take the form: G(k)=-1×1G_5(k)+ γ_4×γ_4G_v+γμ×γ_μ(k) In the Schrdinger equation obtained in the zeroth-order approximation, the effective mass of the constituent particles is found to differ from their original mass by the incursion of large binding scalar potential. If the binding potentials are dominated by a potential which transforms as the fourth component of a vector, then the mass of the constituents will not change, and the first-order relativistic corrections to the energy and wave functions of the bound state are similar to that obtained in the case of small binding. In charmonium phenomenology, one possible explanation of the observed suppressions for the M1 transition J/φ→γη_c, and E1 transitions φ'→γx_J(J=0, 1, 2) is that the charm quark may have larger constituent mass (M_c～2.2—2.5 GeV). This implies that charmonium might be a system with large binding, and the potentials are dominated by a potential which transforms as the fourth component of a vector.
