- W2357900350 abstract "Objective To observe the influence of a reasonable nutritional support on clinical outcome in patients with nutritional risk. Methods This study consisted of 577 new inpatients who were assessed according to standard of NRS 2002.Their nutritional support and length of hospital stay were recorded;the infected,non-infected,and nutritional-support(NS) complications were monitored. Results Of the 557 patients, the total complication rate in 310 with no nutritional risk was obviously lower than patients with nutritious risk(χ2=41.427,P0.01).In 247 with nutritional risk, the difference of total complication rate between NS and non-nutritional-support(NNS) groups was not significant(χ2=6.803,P0.05);the infected complication rate in NS group was lower(χ2=4.864,P0.05),and the non-infected complication rate was higher than the NNS(P0.05);the nutrition-related complications were not significantly different between the two groups(P0.05).In patients with no nutritional risk, the differences between NS and NNS groups were not significant in terms of total complications and non-infected complications(χ2=0.377,3.259;P0.05),and infected complications and NS-related complications increased(χ2=4.414,6.292;P0.05).The hospital stay was not shortened in the patients with nutritional risk after NS therapy(t=2.354,P0.05). ConclusionApplication of nutritional support would benefit patients with nutritional risk." @default.
