- W2358301354 abstract "Little systematic research and investigation has been undertaken on the terrestrial mammals resources in Yancheng Nature Reserve,which geographically locates in 32°34'～34°28' N,119°48'～120°56' E,Jiangsu Province,China.Based on analyses and summarization on the predecessors' research achievement,both in interview survey and field survey a preliminary investigation of terrestrial mammals resources was made by during March 2005 to September 2007.The results are as follows:the terrestrial mammals cover 31 species belonging to 13 families,6 orders.Among them,3 species belong to the National Key Protected Wild Animals of China,1 species is the first rank category,2 species are the second rank category.10 species belong to the List of National Protected Terrestrial Wild Animals with Important Ecological,Economic and Scientific Values.Furthermore,4 species are listed in the China Red Data Book for Endangered Animals,1 species is listed in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals,and 2 species are listed in the Appendix of Official Documents of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.In addition,the ecological distribution,and its present situation of conservation about the terrestrial mammals resources in Yancheng Nature Reserve have been studied.The cause for the decline of the terrestrial mammals resources is discussed and some management measures to protect this resources are proposed in this paper." @default.
