- W2358315071 abstract "Al3Ti particles reinforced magnesium matrix composite with 10wt%,20wt%,30wt%,40wt% Al3Ti was respectively prepared by different powder metallurgy route through in-situ synthesis method and mechanical mixing.The microstructure was investigated by SEM,the component of the composite was characterized by XRD,and the hardness,compressive strength and wear resistance were tested and compared between the composite prepared by the two different methods.The results show that the small Al3Ti particles with 1～5 μm are acquired by in-situ synthesis method.The Al3Ti particles size with 5～15μm in the composite is prepared by mechanical mixing.The particles uniformly disperse in the magnesium matrix,the strength and wear resistance of the composite is highly enhanced.The hardness and compressive strength can be increased by improving the content of Al3Ti,and in-situ synthesis method leads to higher performance than mechanical mixing method.The best wearability is acquired when the content of Al3Ti is 20wt%for the composite prepared by in-situ synthesis method and 30%forthe composite prepared by mechanical mixing method." @default.
