The controlling effects reached 78.7%～93.0%, 10%～20% higher than 5% phorate GR. Large area demonstrations were made in different areas for many years, the results were consistent. The tests showed seed dressed with thiamethoxam ZF 3 days or 3 months earlier before sowing had no significant differences in pest control and at the same time, the treatment had some promoting effect in early growth stage. As the treatment is effective and safe, thiamethoxam is a better insecticide for replacing phorate." @default.
