- W2358416960 abstract "Orthogonal test was performed to establish the electroless technology for Ni-P/nano-SiO_2 composite coating, with the porosity, adhesion to the substrate, and anti-corrosion behavior of the composite coating to be taken into account, which was aiming at increasing the corrosion resistance of electroless Ni-P coating. The effect of the pH value and temperature of the bath on the quality and properties of the composite coating was investigated. It was found that the established technology was feasible in terms of the electroless plating of the Ni-P/nano-SiO_ 2 composite coating. The nano-SiO_ 2 particulates were stable dispersed in the plating bath, and the composite coating prepared at a bath pH value of 4.1～4.6 and temperature of 85～90 ℃ had a good adhesion strength to the substrate. The porosity of the composite coating measured according to QB/T 3823-99was as small as 0. Moreover, the electroless Ni-P/nano-SiO_2 composite coating had much better corrosion resistance than the electroless Ni-P coating." @default.
