- W2358452883 abstract "OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of National Essential Drug System on the control of drug expenditure by analyzing the application of national essential drugs in our hospital.METHODS:Hospitalized patients were collected from our hospital during Mar.15th～Apr.30th of 2010 to calculate the proportion of national essential drugs and estimate the effect of national essential drugs newly admitted by our hospital on the drug expenditure.RESULTS:1 793 cases were collected and the proportion of national essential drugs was 5.73%.The drug expenditure per capita was(2 618.73±3 051.69)yuan,increased by 1.66% at most,decreased by 0.086% at least.CONCLUSION:National essential drugs take up small proportion,which have little influence on drug expenditure.The non-national essential drugs play a major determinant and more effective role in the control of the total drug expenditure." @default.
