- W2359229564 abstract "The nitrifying and reactor kinetics of raw water nitrification in biological pretreatment of micro-polluted water from Huangpu River by MBBR technology was studied.According to the equation of Michaelis-Menten,taking the minimum ammonia nitrogen concentration into consideration,the relationship between ammonia nitrogen concentrations and ammonia nitrogen removal rates could be presented as N=1 879(S-0.08)/(S+1.52).Four nitrification kinetics parameters could be directly or indirectly obtained by the measurements of the reactor system,including the minimum ammonia nitrogen concentration,the half saturation constant,the maximum ammonia removal rate and the maximum specific bacterial growth rate.For the experimental conditions,the parameters were determined to be 0.08 mg/L, 1.6 mg/L,1 859 mg/(m~(2)·d) and 1.48 d~(-1),respectively.It can be drawn that the MBBR belongs to the CSTR and considering the nitrifying kinetics the nitrification dynamic simulation model of this type of reactor was built.The validity of this model was testified by the pilot-scale experiment of Huangpu river raw water bio-pretreatment by MBBR technology.Comparing the calculation results of the model with the results of experiment,the conclusion could be drawn: the higher the concentration of ammonia nitrogen in raw water is,the less the difference between the model and the experiment is.As a matter of fact,the results of this model are very close to the experiments;and it can be used to manage and control the practical operation of this technology effectively." @default.
