- W2359539957 abstract "Mechanism of aluminum on the crude tin refining process have been investigated by thermodynamic calculation and phase diagrams.The results show that refractory alloys were generated by aluminum-antimony and aluminum-arsenic,but aluminum is priority to react with arsenic,and then to react with antimony,which is agreeable fairly well with production practice.AlAs alloy was generated by the reaction between Al and As,the melt point of which is 1740℃,which contains 73.4% As and 26.6% Al,and As∶Al = 1∶0.36,that means 1 kg arsenic need 0.36 kg aluminum,the analysis result was well consistent with production practice.AlSb alloy was easily formed at low temperature between aluminum and antimony,the melt point of which is 1058 ± 10℃,which contains 18.2% Al and 81.8% Sb,and Sb∶Al=1∶0.22.However,production practice shows that,while the addition of aluminum was calculated at Sb∶Al=1∶1,antimony content in tin molten could be reduced to reasonable range." @default.
