- W2359984578 abstract "Objective: To evaluate human papilloma virus (HPV) load and prognostic significance before and after treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). Methods: 190 CIN patients were selected between June 2006 ～ September 2009 from the gyne-cology clinic and gynecological ward of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Hospital. All the patients were treated with the cervical loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) or cervical cold knife conization with follow-up for one year after treatment. HPV load were tested before and after treatment, and the persistence and recurrence of lesions were analyzed. Results: The average HPV load of CIN patients were significantly decreased after treatment of LEEP or cervical cold knife conization (P 0.01). The longer the duration of HPV viral load, the higher the persistence rate and recurrence rate of disease. Conclusions: LEEP or cervical cold knife conization can significantly reduce the HPV viral load of CIN patients. Research and test of HPV viral load could be conducive to the disease prognosis and follow-up." @default.
