- W2360443376 abstract "The objective of the current study was to investigate the effect of leptin on porcine prea-dipocyte differentiation and PGC-1α and UCPs mRNA expression. The results showed that 10～90 nmol/L leptin had no significant effect on triglyceride accumulating in preadipocyte measured by Red oil staining (P0.05).The genes expression were tested by semiquantitative RT-PCR. The results showed that the mRNA levels of LPL was significantly increased by 30 nmol/L and 100 nmol/L leptin, and LPL mRNA expressing in adipocyte treated 24 hours was markedly higher than that of 12 hours (P0.05).However, leptin was no obvious effect on PPARγ2 and C/EBPα mRNA expression (P0.05), that were two important transcriptional factors for preadipocyte differentiation. PGC-1α and UCP3 mRNA expression were strongly accelerated by 30 nmol/L and 100 nmol/L leptin,and UCP2 mRNA was markedly increased by 30 nmol/L leptin (P0.05). Above all, leptin had no effect on porcine preadipocyte differentiation, but may be improve energy consumption by up-regulation PGC-1α,UCP2 and UCP3 mRNA expression." @default.
