- W2361130192 abstract "Objective To study the value of CT virtual gastroscopy to diagnose gastric ulcers and gastric cancers.Methods Twenty-three patients were detected by helical computed tomography after video gastroscopy examination. The imagings were obtained with collimation of 5mm and with the pitch of 1～1.5. All imagings were reconstructed at 1mm intervals.Results Virtual gastroscopy could detect the ulcerated lesions and protrusion lesions as the conventional gastroscopy. It could display early gastric cancers. It could display the depth of intrusive growth and far metastases. It also could observe the lesions in multi-direction. But it was difficult to detect the carcinoma in situ.Conclusion Virtual gastroscopy can clearly display the ulcerated lesions and protrusion lesions but it can not describe the carcinoma in situ. The different parametes can affected the quality of imagings. The time of examination is shorter than that of conventional gastroscopy and patients has less pain." @default.
