- W2361240344 abstract "TiC /316L stainless steel composites were prepared by warm compaction and microwave sintering technique. The effect of the preparation method on microstructure and densification of the composites were studied,and the densification mechanism was also investigated. The results show that the composites prepared by the warm compaction and microwave sintering technique have a higher relative density than the composites prepared by conventional powder metallurgy technology,because it improves the green density of the compact and accelerates the sintering densification process. The relative densities of composites( with 0%,2%,5%,10% and 15% TiC addition) increase from 84. 05%,87. 12%,90. 61%,89. 57% and 89. 13% to 92. 08%,93. 14%,94. 83%,94. 22% and 93. 91%respectively,and those composites exhibit better distributing of TiC particles in matrix,diminishing agglomeration of the particles compared with the conventional powder metallurgy composites." @default.
