- W2361333721 abstract "Five hundred and six middle school students were selected to fill in the Questionnaire of Middle School Students'Perception of Teachers'Emotional Support.All resulting data were analyzed by the SPSS15.0 and LISREL8.30programs.The result indicated that students'perception of emotional support from teachers was a multi-dimensional structure composed of 5 factors,i.e.caring,understanding,encouraging,respecting and trusting.The self-edited questionnaire was a good index of psychometrics.As a whole,middle school students had a high perception of teachers'emotional support.Male students had significantly higher scores on teacher's understanding than female students.Teachers'emotional support for students from urban schools was higher than that for students from rural schools.Middle school students'perception of teachers'emotional support increased along with the growth of the grade,and there were significant differences." @default.
