- W2361635389 abstract "Wheat straw, reed, bagasse and bamboo pulps are the main non-wood pulps for papermaking in China.In this study, environmentally friendly DQP bleaching of these non-wood pulps was carried out.The results indicated that these non-wood pulps can be bleached to a brightness of above 83%ISO when applying an DQP bleaching sequence in which 1.0%～1.5% active chlorine is used in D stage and 1.5%～2.0% H_2O_2 is used in P stage.Compared with CEH bleached pulps, DQP bleached pulps have higher viscosity and strength, better brightness stability.The pollution loads (COD_(Cr),BOD_5, SS and AOX) of DQP sequence are much lower than those of CEH sequence.In summary, DQP sequence is a good option for non-wood pulp bleaching." @default.
