- W2362078259 abstract "Objective To investigate the clinical performance of IPS Empress2 all-ceramic restorations.Methods 51 patients were restored with 63 IPS-Empress 2 full-ceramic crowns and three-unit bridges.The range of clinical service was 12～36 months with the average of 44 months.Marginal integrity,anatomic form,color and surface of the restorations were evaluated according to California Dental Association criteria.Statistical analyses of plaque index(PI) and gingival index(GI) were carried out by use of rank sum test.Results The satisfactory rate of IPS-Empress 2 full-ceramic restorations was 96.8%.There was no statistic difference of gingival health condition between control group and groups with restoration margin lying above/at the level of gingiva margin,and the rate of GI score 2 in subgingival margin group was higher than that of control group.Conclusion The short-term clinical behavior of IPS Empress2 all-ceramic restorations is encouraging." @default.
