- W2362139423 abstract "Objective To explore the feasibility of applying four-dimentional spatio-temporal image correlation(STIC)in fetuses prior to 20 weeks’gestation. Methods 90 cases of fetus, who were prior to 20 weeks’ gestation and checked under 2D ultrasonography and proved to have normal cardiac configuration during June,2010 till July,2011 were selected. These cases were divided into 3 groups according to pregnant weeks:14+0-15+6 weeks’gestation;16+0-17+6 weeks’gestation;18+0-19+6 weeks’ gestation, and there were 30 cases in each group. After 2D ultrasonography,we started 4D model.Based on STIC technology we took volume data from four chamber view for each case at first, scan angle 25°-30°,then got 9 cardiac views according to the American society of Echocardiography(ASE)under MP model and TUI model,in the end we took Kappa test to check the image quality consistency among the 3 groups and those taken at the routine prenatal ultrasonography during 22+0-26+6 weeks’gestation of each groups accordingly. Results Kappa consistency test indicates:in 14+0-15+6 weeks’gestation group, only 2 views were satisfied(Kappa value 0.55-0.59), 1 view was awful(Kappa value 0.18),and the rest were not ideal(Kappa value 0.20-0.39);in 16+0-17+6 weeks’gestation group 3 views were mean(Kappa value 0.40-0.55),and the rest views were satisfied or identical(Kappa value 0.70-0.87),all views of the fetal cardiac images of 16 weeks were identical with those of the fetus exceeding 22 weeks;in 18+0-19+6 weeks’gestation group all the views were nearly identical(Kappa value 0.86-0.94).Conclusion Applying 4D STIC technology for the fetus prior to 22 weeks’gestation can advance the timing of prenatal ultrasonography to 16 weeks, in order to find out normal and abnormal cardiac configuration earlier than before." @default.
