- W2362258536 abstract "Aim To evaluate the protective efficiency by immunized mice or rats with the synthesized peptide p14 or the mixture of the recombinant antigens LDH-Sj23 and SjFABP.Methods Peptide p14 which had been reported to be a T cell and B cell epitope of schistosme was synthesized,coupled with OVA,and then used to immunize Kunming mice and BALB/c mice.The mixture of recombinant antigen LHD-Sj23 and SjFABP was employed to vaccinate Wistar rats.The protective efficiency induced by these molecules was observed.Results and Conclusion 22.22%～30.18%(P0.05～0.001) worm reduction were obtained from the peptide p14 vaccinated mice.32.14% and 31.85% worm reduction were got respectively from Wistar rat vaccinated with recombinant antigen LHD-Sj23 or SjFABP (P0.05),and 47.28% worm reduction was obtained when the rats were injected with the mixture of these two recombinant antigen.The studies of the epitope and the ‘cocktail vaccine’ provides a basis for developing a higher protective vaccine against Schistosomiasis." @default.
