- W2362352741 abstract "This study aims to discuss the situation of the English learning self-efficacy of rural junior middle school students, explores whether there exist differences in the aspects of gender, grades, different family backgrounds, and further digs into the relationship between English learning self-efficacy and the English achievement of rural junior middle school students. The research subjects are 295 rural junior middle school students, and it adopts various statistical methods. The results show that,(1) The English learning self-efficacy of the rural junior middle school students is at a low level in general;(2)There are significant gender differences in the aspects of English learning self-efficacy, sense of ability,sense of efforts and sense of challenge;(3)There do not exist any significant differences in the English learning self-efficacy between the students whose parents go out to work and whose parents stay at home working;(4) English learning self-efficacy has a significant grade difference.(5) English learning self-efficacy is positively correlated with English achievement." @default.
