- W2362774469 abstract "Objective To investigate the differential diagnostic value of gated myocardial perfusion imaging(G-MPI) for ischemic cardiomyopathy(ICM) and dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM).Methods 23 patients with ICM and 15 patients with DCM underwent rest and adenosine stress G-MPI respectively.The radioactive distribution of Left ventricular myocardial,wall motion and cardiac function parameters of left ventricle was compared between ICM and DCM.Results The left ventricular of all the patients were dilated.13 patients with DCM and 2 patients with ICM also had the dilated right ventricular,and there was a significant difference in two groups(χ2=23.102,P0.01).All the cases had abnormal 99mTc-MIBI images.In the patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy,there were 87% with segmental radioactive reductions or defects.In the patients with dilated cardiomyopathy,there were 80% had more severe diffuse radioactive defects than the patients in ischemic cardiomyopathy(χ2=17.036,P0.01).In the two groups,the differences of SSS and SDS were significant in Adenosine 99mTc-MIBI G-MPI(P0.05),and the difference of SRS was insignificant in REST 99mTc-MIBI G-MPI(P0.05).The wall motion analysis in G-MPI showed that patients had different degrees of wall motion decreased.The ventricular wall motion decreased diffusely in 13 patients with DCM,and segment decreased in 20 patients with ICM.There was a significant difference in two groups(χ2=20.188,P0.01).In the two groups,cardiac parameter analysis in G-MPI showed that LVEF,EDV and ESV were abnormal.The difference of ESV was insignificant(P0.05).The differences of LVEF and EDV were insignificant(P0.05).Conclusion G-MPI is a noninvasive method for differentiating ICM and DCM." @default.
